Cookie Policy

What cookies HostErova uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things such as your preferences or whether you have already seen a notice. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in much the same way and are covered by this policy.

Cookies we use

We keep cookies to a minimum:

  • Essential cookies keep the site secure and working, for example to protect forms from spam and to remember your cookie choice. They cannot be switched off.
  • Performance and analytics cookies, if enabled, tell us which pages are read and how visitors find us, in aggregated form. They are set only with your consent.
  • Affiliate cookies are set by hosting providers, not by us, when you click a link through to their site. They tell the provider that you came from HostErova.

We do not use advertising cookies to track you across other websites.

Third-party cookies

Embedded content, such as maps on our contact page, may set cookies controlled by the company that provides it. Those cookies are covered by that company’s own policy.

How long cookies last

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a set period, usually between one day and twelve months, unless you delete them sooner.

Managing cookies

You can accept or decline optional cookies when you first visit, and change your mind at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the contact form, from working.

Updates

We will update this policy if we add or remove cookies. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
